New Orleans–based family is seeking two experienced Newborn Care Specialists and/or Infant Nannies to provide full newborn coverage through 12-hour day and night shifts, OR one exceptional candidate able to provide 24/7 newborn care for the right fit. This role is expected to last approximately 3 months postpartum, with the possibility of extension.
This is a very private, highly professional household and first-time parents who are seeking calm, capable, and emotionally intelligent caregivers. They value discretion, reliability, and collaboration and are looking for someone confident in newborn care who can also gently guide and support new parents.
Responsibilities
Provide attentive, nurturing, and high-quality newborn care
Support feeding, soothing, diapering, and safe sleep practices
Track and communicate sleep, feeding, and daily routines
Maintain a calm, clean, and safe environment for the baby
Support and educate parents with warmth and professionalism
Prepare bottles and manage baby-related organization
Travel with the family as needed and assist with transitions
Schedule Options
Two 12-hour positions:
Day Shift: approximately 7am–7pm
Night Shift: approximately 7pm–7am
OR one 24/7 newborn care provider for the right candidate
Local candidates preferred; travel, housing, and accommodations will be provided for the right candidate
Compensation is $30–$40/hour DOE
