We are an international expat family living in Dubai seeking a warm, responsible, and highly organised Live-In Nanny/House Manager. The ideal candidate is experienced with school-aged children, proactive in managing daily household tasks, and able to maintain a calm, positive environment. This role requires someone trustworthy, adaptable, and comfortable managing both childcare and household operations.
Key Responsibilities
Childcare
Provide attentive, age-appropriate care for two school-aged children.
Oversee morning and after-school routines, including school drop-off/pick-up coordination (if required).
Support homework, reading, and educational activities.
Plan engaging, screen-limited activities, playtime, outings, and after-school schedules.
Manage children’s calendars (school events, extracurriculars, playdates).
Prepare healthy snacks and occasional meals for the children.
Encourage good manners, independence, and positive behaviour.
House Management
Ensure the home runs smoothly and remains well-organised.
Oversee daily tidying, laundry, and basic household upkeep (specialised cleaning staff may be provided depending on the home).
Coordinate with external service providers (maintenance, deliveries, cleaners, etc.).
Maintain household inventories (groceries, cleaning supplies, children’s items).
Manage errands such as grocery shopping or item returns.
Requirements
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Professional, discreet, trustworthy, and respectful of family privacy.
Ability to work independently and maintain a calm, positive disposition.
