Family in Port St. Lucie is seeking an experienced Governess for their 3½-year-old daughter. The ideal candidate has a background in early childhood education, Montessori or Teaching experience, is passionate about interactive, experiential learning and early childhood development and fluent or proficient in Spanish.
Key Responsibilities
Create and lead engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans tailored to the child’s advanced learning level
Foster a structured yet joyful learning environment using Montessori-inspired or other hands-on teaching methods
Support language development in Spanish, integrating vocabulary naturally into daily activities
Encourage early literacy, numeracy, and creative exploration through books, games, nature, and imaginative play
Reinforce social-emotional growth, manners, and independence in alignment with the family’s values
Communicate thoughtfully with parents about progress, observations, and evolving strategies
