Family in Pembroke Pines, FL is seeking an experienced and compassionate Newborn Care Specialist to support them with their newborn for a temporary 4-week assignment. The ideal candidate will be nurturing, calm, and highly knowledgeable in newborn and postpartum care, offering both newborn support and gentle guidance to the parents during the early postpartum period.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing attentive overnight care for a newborn, ensuring safety, comfort, and overall well-being
Supporting the establishment of healthy feeding and sleep routines
Assisting with bottle preparation, sterilization, and nighttime feeding as needed
Monitoring and logging the baby’s sleep, feeding, and diaper activity
Offering postpartum support and education to the parents
Maintaining a calm, hygienic, and organized nursery environment
Offering gentle sleep support techniques appropriate for the newborn stage
The schedule will be 6 nights per week for the first two weeks and 5 nights per week for the following two weeks, from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM (10-hour overnight shifts).
The starting date will be mid-April 2026, working from 9 pm to 7 am.
Salary up to $45 per hour
