A family in Balham, London is looking for a caring and reliable SEN Nanny to support their 4-year-old boy in a part-time afternoon role. The ideal person will have experience or a strong interest in Special Educational Needs and be someone who genuinely enjoys helping children learn and thrive at their own pace. The role is very child-focused and includes picking him up into the afternoon routine, supporting his development through structured yet fun activities, and creating a calm, supportive environment where he feels safe and understood. You’ll be spending time on play-based learning, encouraging communication, and helping with everyday routines in a way that builds confidence and independence. It’s important to the family that the nanny is patient, engaging, and able to build a strong, trusting bond with their son. The position is Monday to Friday from 2pm to 7pm. Salary up to £20 net per hour.
