Summer Nanny needed in Mendham, NJ (potential to extend, see notes)
Seeking an engaging nanny to join a wonderful family of 4, new to Mendham. Care is needed beginning 7/22 until ~9/4 for B2 and G6, the hours that she is home from Camp.
Summer Hours:
Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm
G6 comes home from camp ~3:30
*The family will be seeking a Nanny/Family Assistant for the school year as well. If the candidate is open to continuing employment with schedule and duty modification, they would be happy to hire as one position instead of two*
School Year Hours and Duties:
Monday-Friday 1/2pm-6/7pm, expanding duties to include light tidying/organization, family laundry, and grocery shopping/errands as needed.
Responsibilities:
-All daily care tasks related to B2 and G6
-Creating a stimulating and engaging environment
-Developmental milestone activities
– Outdoor time & activities (park, crafts, library time, etc)
– Children’s laundry
Family/Household Notes:
-G6 has a vision impairment, is high energy, very verbal, and has a mild-moderate autism diagnosis
-Family does their best to keep the home tidy to help with G6’s vision impairment
-Dad will be working from home, and available to handle most transportation needs.
Ideal Candidate:
– Creative, reliable, proactive, organized, honest, and playful
-Creates an authentic and caring relationship with the children
-Experience with potty-training
-Special needs experience would be a bonus, but not required as G6’s diagnosis does not greatly impact the care needed
Compensation:
– Hourly salary based on candidate’s experience. ($28-32)
– Remaining summer holidays off
Requirements:
– 3+ years of childcare experience
– Eligible to work in the US
– Reliable transportation
– Clean driving record and criminal background
– Fluent English
– CPR/First Aid Certified
