Private family seeks a warm, nurturing, passionate, and responsible nanny to care for their six-year-old son by promoting proper development and socialization. This full-time, live-out position is Monday to Friday, roughly 35 hours per week with the flexibility for longer days if needed. The family seeks someone proactive and communicative, yet capable of positive discipline when necessary. Candidates must be familiar with New York City transit and know how to navigate the city with a young child as they attend after school activities. Candidates must be knowledgeable about sensorial issues in young children, and able to assist in developmental and educational milestones such as early reading and writing skills. Montessori background a plus! French speaking a plus! Rate is $35-40 Per Hour.
