A lovely family is looking for a professional nanny who has a joy for reading and a curiosity for learning, and who has a natural love of children. If you have a warm and positive presence, enjoy partnering with parents and have the ability to travel in the summer, you will fit in well. This professional couple are looking for an experienced and active nanny in Chicago’s West Loop for their infant and 2nd grader. Your responsibilities will include the daily care of an infant, including feeding, hygiene, overseeing developmental milestones, and providing regular updates to the parents. Some other tasks needed: the infant’s laundry, tidying, and occasional errands. In addition, you will be providing a stimulating, educational environment for their 7-year-old.
Typically, a Monday through Friday 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM schedule, with some flexibility to work into the evening when needed. Compensation of $40 to $45 per hour offered, depending on experience and benefits. Must be a proficient swimmer, first aid and infant CPR certified and have experience driving in downtown Chicago.
This position offers a flexible end of the summer start date.
