Bay Area family is seeking a professional and energetic full-time nanny to join a nanny team providing consistent daytime care for their toddler. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with infants and toddlers, demonstrate flexibility and teamwork, and bring a nurturing, developmentally minded approach to childcare. A degree or certification in Early Childhood Education or Infant/Toddler Care preferred and a minimum 10 years of full-time nanny experience with infants and toddlers is required.
Duties include:
- Provide attentive, high-quality care for a toddler.
- Support and follow the child’s daily routine, including feeding, diapering, naps, and playtime.
- Prepare and feed bottles, breast milk/formula, and assist with the transition to solids.
- Engage in age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive and physical development (reading, music, sensory play, outdoor walks).
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment; manage baby laundry, bottles, and nursery upkeep.
- Collaborate closely with parents and co-nanny to adapt routines as the child grows.
- Track daily activities and communicate updates with parents.
- Manage baby supplies and inventory; coordinate restocking as needed.
- Drive child to outings and appointments (vehicle provided upon relocation to the Peninsula).
- Travel with the family as needed (domestically and internationally), ensuring seamless care and managing all baby-related packing and logistics.
This position is open to local Bay Area candidates only.
Schedule: 14 on / 14 off rotation, 12 hour days with flexibility
Compensation: $60-65/hr + OT, excellent benefits
