Expectant parents, on the Upper East Side, need to hire a developmentally savvy Nanny to help care for their newborn. Responsibilities include: bathing, diapering, preparing bottles – and food when appropriate, planning enriching outings, encouraging language development, collaborating with hands-on parents who will be working from home, accompanying the family to their homes in the Hamptons and Jamaica as needed, as well as on international travel once the baby is on a consistent schedule. Additional help around the home when parents take the baby for outings or during naptime is required – such as preparing meals when time allows, errands, tidying, laundry etc. The schedule is Monday to Friday 8-10hrs/day. The family is flexible with specific hours for the right candidate. Ideal candidates will be flexible with their schedule and travel availability, have a strong background in infant care and early childhood development and will be comfortable with parents working in the home. Salary range: $35-40/hr. October start.
