Family in Finchley N20 is seeking an experienced live-in nanny to care for their two boys aged 4 and 5.5. Both children attend the same nearby school, just an 8-minute drive from the family’s home.
Duties:
The nanny will handle all duties related to the children, including:
Morning routine: preparing breakfast, helping the boys get ready, and driving them to school.
Afternoon/evening routine: collecting from school or swim lessons, preparing dinner, bath and bedtime routine, and supporting reading or homework with the 5-year-old.
Nursery duties: cooking simple, healthy meals for the children (a rotation of familiar dishes), doing their laundry, and keeping bedrooms and play areas tidy.
One weeknight of babysitting (rarely used but included contractually).
Occasional proxy parenting when both parents travel for work (2–3 times per year, midweek).
Holiday travel to the family’s home in Greece for 2–3 weeks each summer.
The role is Monday to Friday, averaging 40 hours per week, split between morning and afternoon/evening shifts.
The nanny will have her own private top-floor suite with a double bedroom and bathroom, offering full privacy and comfort. The family is looking for a long-term addition who will become part of their household.
Salary:£30,000–£33,000 Gross per annum
