Third-time parents in Santa Monica are seeking an experienced Newborn Care Specialist to support them during the early months with their baby due in March, working 3 to 4 nights per week to help establish rest and routine. The family also has two older children; however, the role is strictly focused on newborn care only. The ideal schedule is Sunday through Wednesday, overnight from 9:00pm to 6:00am.
Responsibilities include full overnight newborn care such as feeding, soothing, diaper changes, and settling the baby back to sleep, as well as keeping the nursery organized, stocked, and well maintained, and ensuring all baby supplies are clean and ready for use. While formal education is not required, the family would welcome practical guidance and supportive insight drawn from the NCS’s professional experience. The position offers up to $45 per hour.
