Pets: 2 dogs (large Lab and small King Cavalier)

A family in North Beach is seeking an experienced newborn nanny to help with childcare and household tasks. Their baby is due July 11th and they’d love to find someone who could start that week. They also have a 3.5 year old son who is in daycare until 5 p.m. with the exception of one day a week when he has a half day.

The nanny will be responsible for caring the their newborn, as well as caring for their toddler one half-day per week. Duties include children’s laundry, folding household laundry, cleaning up the kitchen, general organization, preparing meals for the children, retrieving and breaking down packages, and taking out the trash. The family has an afternoon nanny who will also share the responsibility of some of these household tasks.

The best person for them is proactive, comfortable communicating with parents while working autonomously, and is looking for a long term commitment.

Experience Requirements
2 years minimum experience working with newborns as a private nanny with verifiable references
Educational Requirements
Fluency in English
Qualifications
COVID-vaccinated + boosted
TB and Tdap vaccine
CPR Certified
Must have newborn experience
Self starter / takes initiative to accomplish household tasks
Autonomous
Confident decision making
Must be comfortable with dogs + pet care
Responsibilities
Take toddler to school (walkable from house)
Care for and engage with newborn
Children’s laundry (wash, dry, fold)
Fold household laundry and put linens away
Clean kitchen, load/unload dishwasher, wipe down counters
Order and put away groceries
Retrieve packages
Meal plan and prepare meals/snacks for children
Break down boxes and take out trash
Feed the dogs and let outside
Schedule vet appointments, grooming, etc.
