About the job

A loving family in San Francisco is seeking a nanny to add to their current team. There are two nannies per ROTA shift and two different shifts. This is a live-out role, no overnights required. The nannies work 12 hour shifts, generally starting at 7:30/8am. Team 1 works Monday and Tuesday and every other Friday/Saturday/Sunday. Team 2 works Wednesday and Thursday and every other Friday/Saturday/Sunday. This gives each team one week of 5 days on, and the next week 5 days off. There are two children, ages ten months and four-years-old and pior experience with these age ranges is required. Travel may be required at times. The family is seeking a local candidate, since it's a live-out position, but are also open to relocating the right candidate who is looking to live in the San Francisco area.

The successful nanny will be calm, grounded, comfortable swimming and driving, and willing to travel three to six weeks a year. This is a RIE family, so knowledge of RIE is a plus. The family will also provide training if the candidate feels that RIE aligns with their vision of childcare. The children are to be cared for with a team approach- admin duties such as packing lists, nanny schedules, ordering etc will be done by one nanny when the other has the children . Children’s laundry is to be done by the nanny team. The home is fully staffed and has three housekeepers in the home. Educated nannies are a plus and will be paid accordingly. A background in Montessori, Pikler or Reggio Emilio is a plus, preschool teaching experience is a plus, and they have a major preference for nannies who have worked in fully staffed homes and who have worked on nanny teams before.

Nannies are paid a competitive hourly rate plus time and a half after nine hours. Benefits include full health insurance for the employee and their immediate family, paid time off, and 401K with 5% matching. Must be available to start by mid July. In addition, there is a non-taxable food allowance and travel fee paid when traveling. You must be legal to work in the US and have a US Passport, Green Card, or EAC and be fully vaccinated for COVID and the flu to apply for this role. If you are interested in this position, please apply to KS371.
