An adventure-loving family of four that splits their time between Florida, Wyoming, and Costa Rica is seeking a travel-ready, educationally minded nanny and family assistant to join them in supporting their school-aged children!

Location: Delray Beach, FL, Jackson Hole, WY, and Costa Rica
Ages of children: 9 and 5 years old
Start Date/Contract Dates: As soon as they find the right fit!
Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 40-50 hours per week Tuesday through Saturday with the general schedule falling between 7:30am-5:30pm or 12pm-10pm. Flexibility for additional hours, travel, overnights, and providing family assisting support while the children are at school will be key.
Compensation and benefits: The family is offering $35-40+/hr in addition to benefits including a healthcare stipend, housing and/or a housing stipend, PTO, and relocation assistance resulting in a full compensation package in the $100-115+k/year range for the perfect applicant.
Live-in/Live-Out: Live-out. Private accommodations will always be offered when traveling or staying at the family’s properties in Wyoming and Costa Rica. The family looks forward to identifying a housing setup that works well for all parties given the exciting travel involved in this role!
Household Dynamic:
A bustling family of four and their sweet, energetic lab split their time between the beach and the mountains! These dual-career parents love to balance work and play and are raising their children to be free thinkers and encourage hands-on, experiential learning whenever possible. One of their children learns with ADHD and is equipped with a great tool kit and occupational therapy team to support them and their caregivers! They are eager to welcome an educationally-focused nanny who can help to make their curriculum have the biggest impact whether traveling or at home.
The 5 and 9-year-old are creative, active, and adventure-loving. Both enjoy playing outdoors, doing everything from rock climbing to kite surfing! They are currently into animals and collecting critters in their backyard like spiders, hermit crabs, fish, and butterflies.
The family travels frequently between their homes in Florida, Wyoming, and Costa Rica, as well as vacation-style travel to Europe. Whether it’s for a week-long trip to one of their homes or a longer adventure, someone who is travel-savvy with an adventurous spirit will thrive!
Ideal candidate:
The ideal candidate is a happy, optimistic, patient, lover of adventure who is ready to add their many talents to the family’s bustling household! Someone who is comfortable wearing multiple hats and brings a can-do attitude to each day will thrive in this dynamic environment. The family is excited to work with the candidate to co-construct a weekly schedule and division of tasks to help this person thrive in each of these areas!
An educationally-focused nanny who is a true team player and is happy to support the family in a variety of capacities, from facilitating the children’s education and planning activities for the curriculum, to helping pack between destinations or supporting this family and household run smoothly with family assisting-type tasks will all be appreciated. The family hopes for a candidate who can work side by side with the parents to create the best day-to-day experience for their children.
This family is constantly on the go and would be excited to bring on a high-energy candidate who can enthusiastically support their adventures! They look forward to meeting a multi-talented candidate to join them for years to come! While not a requirement, the family would love to work with a candidate who possesses a proven background or training in early childhood education, is experienced neurodiverse learners, and/or speaks Spanish!
Qualifications:
At least 3 years of professional childcare, teaching experience in a classroom or homeschool setting, and/or family assisting experience
Fully vaccinated and boosted (when eligible) against COVID-19 prior to starting date in accordance with applicable laws
Experience (and excitement!) traveling with families and children
