Creative + Active TEMP Nanny NEEDED for wonderful family in West Hollywood with a sweet 7-year-old boy! Their nanny will be on medical leave starting May 23rd for 4-8 weeks, and they need childcare support during this time. Family can offer 40-50+ hours weekly based on your preference. They just need a strong right hand to manage school drop off/pick up, and filling the days with activities once school lets out! The general schedule is Mon-Fri, but they will welcome additional weekend support if you’re up for it. For the first 2 weeks you will start your day at 7:30am with school drop off using provided nanny car (30 min commute to school in Westwood) and then be responsible for after school pick up (2:30pm), driving him to activities, and facilitating the evening routine. Once school is out (June 6th), the hours will likely shift to 8/9am start. The hours will vary based on what you’re comfortable working, and willing to assist with! Rate is $30-$35/hr+ gross DOE.

Duties will include managing his schedule, school and summer camp drop off and pick up, packing school/camp lunch, preparing snacks and dinner for him daily, loading/unloading dishwasher, kid laundry, assisting with homework and any end of year school projects, coordinating play dates, fun activities and outings, playing outside (swimming, hiking, riding bikes, etc.), painting, reading, taking field trips to the beach, aquarium, and museums – anything to keep him away from the trap that is Netflix! Additional tasks they would love support with during non-childcare hours (if you’re up for it) include running errands, grocery shopping, organizing his toys/clothing, managing household vendors as needed, and keeping a running inventory of household items.

Dual-working parents have very busy careers and will not be the micromanaging type; they need someone to step in who is smart, proactive, requires little oversight, and can keep the parents updated.
