A go-with-the-flow family who splits their time between the Upper West Side and Connecticut is seeking a nurturing, travel-ready nanny to join them in caring for their 5-month-old twins!

Location: New York, NY
Ages of children: 5-month-old twins
Start date/Contract dates: As soon as they find the perfect fit!
Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 50+ hours per week with the general schedule falling on Monday through Friday from 9/10am-7/8pm.
Compensation: The family is offering $35-45/hour based on the 50+ hour/week schedule, which equates to annualized base compensation of $100-128+k/year dependent on experience.
Benefits: The family is open to providing benefits including paid time off, paid holidays, health insurance stipend, a vehicle for professional use, and transportation reimbursement based on candidate need and the full benefits package.
Live-in/Live-out: Flexible to live-in or live-out. If live-in, the candidate would stay in a private bedroom/bathroom with a nearby family member while the family prepares to move to a new residence with private nanny accommodations.
Relocation: The family has a strong preference for NYC-based candidates. For the perfect, travel-ready, twin, and infant/toddler experienced candidate, they may be open to candidates who would be relocating just for this position.
Household dynamic:
This adventurous, fun-loving family welcomed their twins in November of last year, and are adjusting to life as a family of four (five including their dog!). The family has a laid back vibe and are seeking a candidate who has a similar mindset and disposition as they transition from working with their wonderful newborn care specialist.
They split their time between NYC and CT, and spend some time in Martha’s Vineyard during the summers.They also like heading out west for a ski trip in the winter when they are able, so a candidate who is excited about the family’s travel-ready lifestyle will enjoy spending time with them in all of these locations. Dad works outside of the home during the weekdays, and mom is in and out during the day. Because mom is at home, the family is flexible and happy to adjust the general schedule and days depending on candidate needs.
They are excited to hire a candidate who is well-versed in the infant through toddler stages and can provide loving, consistent care for their twins no matter where they are!
Ideal candidate:
This position is ideal for a candidate who is excited to support first-time parents and grow with their twins into toddlerhood! The family is excited to work with a candidate who brings knowledge and experience with different parenting styles and who can guide them as they venture into parenthood in the toddler years. A candidate who possesses a relaxed, warm energy will thrive in this family’s home.
All responsibilities will be child-related, so a candidate who is happy to help with child-related tidying, laundry, meal preparation, and management of the children’s belongings will be appreciated. A candidate who has a can-do attitude and is excited to travel with the family as needed will be appreciated!
While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate who has supported twins or multiples in a previous role or has experience supporting families on their travels.
Valid driver’s license required, and passport preferred
Fully vaccinated and boosted (when eligible) against COVID-19 prior to start date in accordance with applicable laws
Comfortability preparing basic meals
Dog friendly!
