Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Mooresville, NC in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their daughter, who is 2.5 years old. The nanny would typically be needed Monday - Thursday 8:00 am - 6:00 pm, 40 hours a week.

The best nanny for this family would be trustworthy, professional, punctual, and proactive. The family is looking for a caring nanny that has the care and safety of the child as the first priority always. The family lives in a home that has a pool and elevator, and is on the lake. So the nanny would need to be extra vigilant to keep their daughter safe throughout the day. The nanny should be motivated/energetic, and able to learn and adapt. The family is looking for a nanny who is familiar with developmental milestones, and would be creative in coming up with activities that will encourage the daughter’s growth and development. She likes to play with toys, legos, playdoh, run around outside, play with bubbles, swim in the pool in the summer, and jump around in her bounce house. She is high energy and likes to stay busy, so the nanny would need to be very active and engaged with her throughout the day to provide an enriching environment. The family is looking for a long-term nanny that will eventually become an extended member of the family.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:


Meeting daily scheduling needs of the child (Feeding, Changing, Napping)

Engaging with the child on an age appropriate level

Playing with the child both inside and outside the home

Doing hands on learning activities with the child

Household Duties Include (Child is first priority, They have a cleaning service that comes once a week.):


Child’s laundry and changing children’s sheets weekly

Prepping food and feeding the child

Picking up toys and straightening rooms

Washing and putting away dishes, glasses, and bottles.

Taking out the kitchen trash when it is full.

Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the children

Emptying diaper trash

Pets:

The family has a large dog. He is a 150 lbs Newfoundland. No pet care needed, he is typically out of the home during the day and has a busy social schedule. The nanny may need to occasionally feed him or get him water.

Qualifications:

Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

Have a college degree or equivalent experience

Have a professional resume

Fill out a complete online application

Pass a national background check, including driving record check

Have a valid driver’s license

Have safe and reliable transportation

Have a minimum of three professional references

CPR and First Aid Certified

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

This position starts ASAP

Legal pay is offered at $23.00 per hour, and a raise at 6-12 months depending on performance.
