Hours are Monday - Friday, 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM

The family is guaranteeing 40 hours per week, offering 10 days paid vacation, 5 paid sick days, major holidays off work with pay, and a mileage reimbursement.

This position will begin as a split nanny share before transitioning to longterm full-time care for one family. The primary (longterm) family has a 6-month-old baby girl and will initially need care 3 days per week (9:30 AM - 5:30 PM). The second family has a 10-month-old girl and will need care two days per week (9:30 AM - 5:30 PM) until she gets a daycare spot in 2-3 months. The nanny will work with each child individually in their homes (both in west midtown) and will not be needed to care for both babies at the same time. Once the 10-month-old begins daycare the primary family will need care Monday - Friday, 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM. Please inquire with any questions or for more information.

Pet friendly, please! The primary family has one dog. The temporary family has one large dog (who can be put away during the day) and four cats. No pet care is required.

Must have professional experience caring for infants and a true love for working with babies! The ideal nanny for this position will be highly engaging and will plan fun, interactive activities each day with a focus on meeting developmental milestones.

Must be up to date on all standard vaccines as well as TDAP, Covid (including a booster), and willing to get an annual flu vaccine. The family would also like the nanny to do a weekly at-home Covid test (provided by the family) until their little one is eligible to be vaccinated.

Household tasks include the child’s laundry, dishes, preparing meals and snacks for the child, and generally maintaining a tidy environment throughout the day. The primary family is vegan and feeds their little one a plant-based diet.

Should be comfortable with two parents who work from home.

The family would love to find a nanny who is bilingual (any language). This is not a requirement for the position but would be a bonus!

Montessori experience is a plus! The family values creating an education-rich environment with a focus on promoting independence. Play-based learning, a gentle caregiving style, and an overall focus on healthy growth and development are important to the family.

Must be LGBTQ+ friendly!
