BNB6
NURTURING, ORGANIZED + HIGHLY COMMUNICATIVE PROFESSIONAL CAREER NANNY FOR ONE NEWBORN IN NASHVILLE (37205)

Brand new parents to a little boy, born in early April, are elated, exhausted, and ready to find an incredible nanny to join their sweet little family! Their ideal fit would be a nanny with a strong background in working in similar roles and with a career-oriented outlook on the profession. They are prioritizing their little man’s comfort and development over the other needs of their home and are looking for someone who can offer a wealth of experience and knowledge as they navigate the first year of parenthood, and beyond. They live in Belle Meade.

SCHEDULE
HOURS: M-F 9 AM – 5 PM (potentially 8-4)
GUARANTEED HOURS: 40/week
START DATE: MAY/JUNE 2022 (depending)
DURATION: initial 1 year commitment preferred

THE DETAILS

As new parents, this couple is navigating the first few weeks of caring for their son as a family of three, but eventually as they trickle back to their careers, they are looking to introduce a caring, compassionate and (overly) communicative caregiver to their dynamic for their son. They are still developing their parenting style and considering what will be best for their son, but they remain open to learning from their nanny on a lot of things. When beginning the position, the nanny will be overlapping with mom’s maternity leave, but since she runs her own business, she will slowly be introducing work tasks in the coming weeks until she is full time.

At the moment, their sole focus is having someone who is consistent, punctual and experienced with newborns. They want to focus on getting into a routine and ensuring he is meeting his developmental milestones. They will prioritize a comforting and nurturing individual who is confident and supportive. A formal education in early childhood development or similar would stand out to this family. Once mom returns to work full time this summer, it will be a full charge role, however, mom and dad will want a strong communicator to keep them in the loop on the daily. Additional support with keeping the baby’s laundry going, keeping common areas tidied up and any baby-related things taken care of will be required. They could always use help with putting away some groceries, and keeping track of household items that are running low.

Both parents are in the music industry and would prefer to hire someone who is flexible for occasional overtime on evenings and weekends when they have events to attend. This position has the opportunity to grow into more of a family assistant role with household management duties eventually, but the family would also be open to hiring someone additionally for those tasks on a part time basis.

*The family has two Bengal cats
