Role: Rota Nanny
Care for: B8 & B11
Days/Hours: 2 weeks on/2 weeks off
Salary: £50,000-£60,000 gross per annum
Location: Chelsea
Start: ASAP

We are seeking an exceptional, highly experienced Nanny for a Rota position based in Chelsea, London.

You will be responsible for the care, wellbeing and development of two boys aged 8 & 11 years old.

Duties will include; morning routine (getting the children up, dressed and ready for school), preparing breakfast, dropping the children to and from school, arranging and accompanying afterschool activities, homework supervision, liaising with the schools, outdoor and indoor play, full nursery duties, running ad hoc errands, bath and bed routine as well as international travel over the holidays.

Whilst there is significant downtime in the day, the boys partake in many extra curricular activities. You must have a high level of organization and proactive in order to ensure all tasks are complete. You will share the role with another nanny who was been working with the family for 9 years.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and children, be highly organised and proactive, with lots of energy to keep up with the boys. You will be a Nanny who is a team player and happy to work with both the parents and other staff to ensure everything runs smoothly.
You will be provided with accommodation on a separate floor in the family home, all expenses paid.

Duties:

• Responsible for the care, wellbeing and development of the children
• Escorting the children on trips and outings
• Planning and leading educational activities and assisting with homework as necessary
• Keeping track of all school related matters – parents evenings, trips, activities and so on
• Maintaining the children’s timetables (following routines, planning activities, etc)
• Packing/unpacking the children’s bags for school, extracurricular activities, and organised trips
• Packing/unpacking for travel overseas
• Arranging appointments and keeping up to date records at all times (e.g.. Medical appointments and vaccinations, haircuts, extracurricular activities)
• Ad hoc errands and admin
• International travel with the family
• Working alongside other staff to ensure the smooth running of the household
• Keeping the children’s bedrooms organised
• Maintaining records and reports on the children’s educational and developmental progress

To be considered for this role you must;

• Be fluent in English Language
• Have 5+ years previous experience as a Nanny (or Governess)
• Have excellent contactable references
• Possess (or be willing to get) an up to date DBS check
• Be flexible to travel internationally
• Be punctual, organised and professional
