Exciting opportunity for a kind, calm and discreet professional nanny to work for a high-profile couple who are in the film and Television industry, the job will require a lot of flexibility at times, but the opportunities will be worth it. Job Summary: This lovely down to earth couple will be a dream to work for. They are first time parents of an adorable little boy who just turned 5 months. They are hoping to employ a professional nanny who will embrace that this position will require a great deal of flexibility at times to include travelling when they are away filming. Both work in the film and television industry meaning you could be away for months at a time. Both parents really want to be involved as much as possible and would hope to find a great team player who will work with them in giving their son the best possible care. He is described as an easy, delightful little boy who is on a good schedule and just starting to wean. Jobs like this do not come around that often, Eden believe the nanny they choose will be very lucky to work for such a down to earth loving family. The schedule will be based on a 50-hour week, all hours over 50 will be paid as overtime (when travelling, the schedule will most likely change to fit around filming etc)

Accommodation: Will be provided when travelling

General duties:

Sole and shared care
Planning activities and games that will aid in the boy’s development
Keeping the nursery and play areas tidy
Responsible for the little boys washing, sorting his clothes out and liaising with mum what needs to be replaced
Working as a team with both parents on his care and development discussing the next stages and how to implement them, he has just started weaning
When the time comes – potty training
Preparing bottles and nutritious meals for the baby
Extensive travel which may involve being around on set depending on the assignment – you must be comfortable with this
Packing and unpacking for trips

Candidate requirements:

Good working experience of babies and the younger years
Confident with all the early years milestones and development including potty training
Ideally a childcare qualification but this is not essential
A laid-back but responsible personality who will work well with both parents –you will be working for first time parents who just like any other family want the best for their son, at times they will want to pull from your experience and knowledge
Active and enjoys the outdoors
Offering suggestions based on your experience when needed
Responsible, discreet and safety conscious – the parents are known in the industry it is important you are comfortable with this and what will be involved especially when travelling. The family are very private and will want to keep as low a profile as possible
Professional and presentable with good English skills
A good traveller – happy to be on planes -Must have an in-date passport and able to travel easily around the world, mostly USA and Europe
It is important that your passport allows you to get an Esta visa for travel to the USA
Due to the strict requirements of the USA, it is a requirement to be double vaccinated unless you are medically exempt

DBS check required at offer stage
