A busy, loving family of three, and their French Bulldog, is seeking a confident live-in nanny for their 19-month-old daughter in Bethesda, Maryland.
Their daughter is very curious and has a lot of energy. She loves to dance, listen to music, and play at the park. She is very social and enjoys talking to other children and adults. She is affectionate and has a warm personality. She will be attending preschool three mornings per week. As a family, they like to go to the beach, the pool, out to dinner with friends, the zoo, and parks. They also like to travel and are looking for a nanny who will accompany them during their trips. The family has a small dog (French Bulldog), so please be comfortable around pets. Both parents work from home, in separate offices.
This position is ideal for a candidate who is experienced working with toddlers, travel-ready, engaging, confident, and proactive! A candidate who has previously worked with first-time parents, would be a plus. Someone who can take charge and is comfortable having full autonomy throughout the day while both parents focus on work will be important. Responsibilities will include transporting their daughter to and from school, child-related meal-prep, light child-related cooking, child-related tidying, and child’s laundry. Occasional traveling with the family will be asked and appreciated. This family is looking for a long-term commitment and someone who can grow with their family for years to come.
This is a live-in position, and the family has a large private separate space with separate entrance in their home. This includes a bedroom, full bathroom, kitchen, dining area, patio, and private entrance.
Minimum of 3 years of recent, professional, paid childcare experience
Experience working with toddlers
High school diploma
Valid driver’s license
Reliable & insured vehicle
Authorized to work in the U.S.
At least 21 years of age
Currently fully COVID-19 vaccinated & boosted (if eligible)
The schedule is full-time, guaranteeing 40 hours/week, with the general schedule falling on Mondays and Wednesdays from 12pm to 6:30pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30am to 5:30pm, Fridays from 12pm to 5pm, and Saturdays from 7am to 11am.
The family is offering $25-$30/hour, based on 40 hours/week which equates to $1,000-$1,200/week and an annualized base compensation of $57K-$67,400/year
All rates are commensurate with experience, credentials, longevity with past employers, and level of completed education.
The family is open to providing benefits including a $2K bonus, a $250 monthly healthcare stipend, paid time off, paid major holidays, and mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate for on-the-job travel.
