If you are known for being “the helper“, love all things “girl“, and are ready to join the cutest mother-daughter duo in Northern California, KEEP reading! Sweetest single mom is seeking a bright, organized and loving Nanny/Family Assistant in Larkspur, CA (Marin County)! She has an adorable daughter who will be starting kindergarten in the fall and needs help both in the mornings as well as after school/evenings, so you should be comfortable working a split shift. This is the PERFECT job if you enjoy having your mid-day available to run errands, grab lunch with friends, or exercise! She is willing to guarantee 40 hours but does require a high degree of flexibility – early mornings, late evenings and travel! Target annual salary is $75-90K gross, depending on experience! Family is only considering LOCAL candidates at this time – please live in the nearby vicinity.

In this role you will be mom’s right hand and partner in parenting and will thrive if you are naturally organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, go with the flow and enjoy systems/schedules. A typical day will include having you come to the house early so mom can hit the gym before her daughter wakes up. You’ll assist with getting breakfast ready, wake her up, help her get dressed and ready for the day, unload/load the dishwasher, throw in laundry, make sure her lunch/backpack is ready to go, create your to-do list for any tasks that day, and once mom drops her off at school you are free to take off for a bit. Mom does school pick up most days, but would love to have a second pair of hands to plan fun activities, coordinate /supervise play dates, assist with meal prep, play games, and help with the evening routine. During school breaks, holidays, or sick days, you should plan to work longer days – flexibility is KEY! Additional duties will include running errands, grocery shopping, arranging travel, researching camps/lessons/extracurriculars, managing household vendors, keeping a stocked inventory of household items, working on organizational projects (creating systems, sorting child’s things, organizing closets, etc.), shopping for birthday gifts, wrapping presents, addressing holiday cards, etc. You should LOVE to come into a home, see what needs to be done (even if its not apparent) and jump right in with little to no oversight.

This little girl is just the best – she is kind, loving, affectionate, super silly, and could get lost in an imaginary game for hours at a time. She is currently enrolled in soccer, piano and ballet lessons, loves to swim (you should too!), and really wants a horse – no allergies please! The right nanny for her is intuitive, nurturing, playful, creative, imaginative, cheerful, goofy, creative and has a high EQ. They have a no-screen policy and prefer to instead play, do arts and crafts, and get outdoors! Must be vaccinated and boosted for Covid and open to travel for consideration. If you are looking for an amazing long-term position with the best family, don’t wait, apply TODAY!
