Part-Time Afternoon Nanny Needed in Eagle Rock! Job starts in September 2022! The schedule is Monday-Friday from 2PM-6PM, they would love their nanny to be open to working a longer shift on occasion to cover date nights. Rate is $35/hr Gross.
The family is relocating to Eagle Rock from the East Coast, and they have two children; a 1 year old girl and a 4 year old boy. Their 1 year old has had some health issues (she was a preemie) and has her own nanny that works until 4/4:30PM each day, so you will primarily be working with their older child, but will provide care for the both of them after 4PM and whenever else is needed. It’s important to them that you are comfortable caring for the both of them as needed.
The ideal nanny loves playing and engaging with children and will be an active participant with activities/games/crafts. Your duties will involve arriving to the home before school pick up to do any prep work (fold laundry, do a load of dishes, prep snacks, etc) and then handle school pick up for their older child. After school you will bring him home (or to any activities/classes he might have), and make sure he gets a snack and do some fun indoor/outdoor activities with him.
Their older child is incredibly sweet and sensitive, they practice gentle parenting and want a nanny who is on board with that and has similar child rearing philosophies.
