Family in Wandsworth Common need the help of a switched on and proactive nanny to look after their 6 month old baby girl. We are looking for someone who can engage with the little one and ensure that she grows up in a caring, playful and compassionate environment and help her hit all her developmental milestones. Mum and Dad work full time so this is a sole charge role. We need someone who is proactive, totally reliable and with a warm friendly can do and adventurous way about them!.
General Duties:
- Sole charge of the 6 month old
- Implementation of the routine as agreed with parents (put in place by the maternity nurse)
- Structured & spontaneous play activities to encourage growth and development.
- Preparation of milk feeds / bottles & all baby meals as weaning is introduced.
- Arranging/attending groups and play dates.
- Nursery duties – baby laundry, emptying dishwasher, keeping everything neat and tidy etc
- Occasional Babysitting on evenings and weekends by agreement (paid in addition).
Candidate requirements:
- Knowledge of developmental milestones & weaning. (An Early Childhood Development background or Montessori / Norland training is preferred)
- Kind, warm with bubbly personality – able to use own initiative
- Must have carried out similar role in the past and have recent experience with this age group
Working Days: Monday -Friday ,5 days 7.30/8am until 6pm (with flexibility ) 50- 52.5 hours per week
