Job location: Vienna, Austria + International travel

Days and hours: Tuesday – Saturday, 9am – 5pm (Sunday & Monday off)
Start date: December ideally (will wait for the right candidate)
Salary: EURO 45,000-60,000 gross per annum (approx 3200-3700 per month net) depending on experience & qualifications
Children ages: 1 year old boy , 4 years old girl
Driver: A driver is essential (with experience driving in the EU)
Travel: Worldwide (8-12 weeks)
Accommodation: Separate studio flat (open to local candidates on live out basis as well)
Description: The family are looking for a confident and warm individual that guides our children in their development and curiosity about the world. They appreciate a hands-on, forward thinker with knowledge of implementing a weekly program alongside the mother, with the goals of maintaining a stimulating and calm environment as well as routine. Confident in moving around with both children in a city environment. They are multinational family and move around between Vienna, London and South Africa, however most of their time and routine is spent in Vienna, Austria. They also plan on traveling more in the next 1-2 years as our children have no school restraints yet. Hence the individual they are looking for should be happy to travel with us. They live in beautiful Vienna, next to a park in a fin de siècle house that is owned by the family. They offer a renovated and furnished studio flat with separate bathroom and kitchen just for the position with full privacy below the floor of the family. For the right candidate they are willing to negotiate on time-off as well as paid trips home. They are also happy to assist in any child-related online study in the individual’s own time.
Duties: – Pick up from Kindergarten (walking distance)
– Planned trips to museums / parks (in car)
– Planning activities / program for week ahead (Materials needed etc)
– General preparedness: Right clothes, snacks, water bottles, a toy at hand for planned adventures
– Join on vacation trips, – Preparing / Cooking lunch, Child related only housework (Nursery duties)
