COLUMBUS, OH (OPEN TO ALL US CANDIDATES) – Active family looking for a FULL-TIME LIVE-OUT NANNY with a lot of energy to keep up with their 2 busy boys (10-year-old, and 6-year-old) and the family’s bustling and active lifestyle. The boys love being outdoors and participating in sports and various after-school activities. Both children attend dyslexia-based therapies throughout the week during school. The family is looking for someone who is nurturing and caring, but can also hold boundaries when necessary. A flexible, reliable nanny who is self-motivated with excellent communication skills is a must. The ideal candidate is someone who is organized, and safety-conscious with a basic understanding of child development. Would need to plan activities for non-school day work days(crafts, games, taking them to the park, etc. Indoor and outdoor activities!). This is an active household with limited screen time, so creativity and lots of energy are helpful. The family is really seeking a nanny who loves to be around kids as well as the whole family. An adventurous, strong swimmer, who is willing to go with the flow and pivot quickly when needed. Summer hours are 8AM-5PM M-F and Fall hours(starting Aug. 24) are 12PM-8PM, M-F, occasional nights, and weekends. Covid vaccine plus booster required. Must have a passport and the ability to travel domestically and internationally. Nanny must have their own transportation and ability to drive children to and from different activities. A clean driving record, well-maintained car, and updated auto insurance are a must. Duties will include household management, grocery shopping, meal planning, laundry, organization/rotating kids’ toys and clothes, and general errands. Scheduling and following up with common staff such as exterminator, maintenance, and florists. Maintaining lightbulbs throughout the house. Staying conscious of the household and scheduling maintenance when necessary (leaking sink, overflowing toilet, outlet malfunctions, etc.) Need to be able to maintain a healthy relationship with the household staff (plumber, electrician, landscaping team, housekeeping team, etc.) May need to administer medicine and vitamins with parents’ consent, if necessary. The perfect candidate must be able to work with a fully staffed home and be a team player. Start date is August 1st.
