A superb live In Family PA role has become available for an experienced person to help look after the home of a welcoming family of three (Mum and twin girls, aged 8) and their pet cat.
The family live in Taplow, Buckinghamshire, which is close to the new Elizabeth train line. You will have your own en-suite bedroom.
Your hours will be 07.30–10.30 and 14.30-19.30, five days out of seven, with the two days off agreed in advance. There will also be two late evenings each week to 22.00. These two evenings will be flexible and agreed in advance. (45 total hours per week). You will be free to spend the four hours in the middle of the day as you would like. However, in the school holidays there may be some additional hours, but these hours will be agreed separately and paid as overtime.
You will need to be a careful and confident driver, with your own fully insured car to carry out the school runs and other activities. Duty mileage will be paid at the current government rate.
The family employ a cleaner, so while the girls are at school, you will help to keep everything running smoothly in between cleans.
Duties to include:
• Tidying and organising the home, making sure the kitchen and all areas used are tidy at the end of each day
• Family laundry – including clothes, towels and bedding
• Ironing
• Weekly bed changing
• Keeping the children’s bedrooms tidy and organised
• Children’s wardrobe management (moving on things that they have grown out of, etc)
• Alerting Mum if the children require anything (new shoes, uniform, etc)
• Organising appointments (doctor, dentist, haircuts, etc)
• Keeping on top of school admin and alerting Mum to anything needed
• Cooking healthy and nutritious meals each day / packed lunch if required
• Ordering grocery shopping
• Putting away grocery shopping
• Running household errands (post office, dry cleaning etc)
• Sourcing, buying and wrapping presents and cards
• Researching suitable activities, trips and holidays
• Feeding the cat
