A family with two boys, ages 5 1/2 and 1, are seeking a rotational nanny to add to their team. The schedule will be two days on, two days off and every other weekend. The hours are roughly 7:30am – 8:30pm, but the flexibility to stay late or overnight when the parents have work or other social events is vital. A nanny suite in the home is provided for any occasional overnights. The family travels often and depending on the length of the trip, will either trade off nannies or bring both nannies along.
The oldest boy is in school Monday – Friday so the majority of the weekday will be spent with the baby. In addition to childcare, the nanny will also assist with drop offs, pick ups, occasional errands and appointments. While the baby is napping, some household projects may include organizational projects, maintaining lists of household supplies and restocking as necessary, sanitizing toys, and general tidying. The family has a car available for the nanny to use while working.
The ideal nanny is energetic, structured, intuitive, aware of developmental milestones, proactive in planning educational activities, and a great communicator. The family has a pool on the property so it is required that all candidates be strong swimmers and comfortable supervising children in the water. The parents strive to keep their home a fun and engaging environment for their children so are looking for someone that can maintain their gentle parenting approach while also enforcing proper boundaries.
Hourly rate is $30/hour, guaranteed hours, and benefits.
