This person will pick-up the children from their schools, help with any schoolwork, and engage with them. They go to school/daycare approximately 8:30am-2pm.
The nanny must have private home experience caring for children in this age group. Preference will go to someone who is educated/degreed, or who has childcare certifications. Also, someone who is into continuing education that will help with the role. The nanny should be able to relate to the children as an educator and caregiver, and cultivate fun and learning. Be proactive, creative, respectful, and energetic. This person should encourage reading and enjoy conversing with the kids and genuinely enjoy their time with them. The nanny will help in the evening with wind down time and make sure to leave everything tidy, leave the kitchen clean after the kids have eaten.
Hours will ideally be Monday through Friday, 11am-7pm. On sick days, school days off, and summers, this person must be available to start earlier, perhaps 8am-6pm. The family is offering medical, PTO, paid federal holidays, and a performance based yearly bonus.
The nanny must be CPR/first aid certified and it would be a bonus if you know how to swim. This person must have their valid drivers’ license and must have a clean driving record (no tickets or accidents). The nanny must be COVID vaccinated. You must have a U.S. Passport, Green Card, or EAC to apply for this role.
