A lovely professional family are looking for an experienced, active, loving nanny to care for their two young children. This is a sole charge position, the parents both work full time and will be mostly at the office. A driver is essential, and the family have a car for you to use during the day.
General duties:
- Sole charge nanny
- Planning the meals for the children- healthy cooking from scratch
- Responsible for the food order for the children
- Batch cooking
- Arranging and taking them to activities
- Arranging playdates – the family would want the children to get out everyday no matter wat the weather is (someone who is excited to take the girls somewhere different)
- Preparing them for school
- Dropping & picking them up from the school
- Communicating with the teachers at the nursery (in nursery two mornings a week)
- Reading to the children and helping with speech
- Keeping toys, puzzles and their playing area tidy and clean
- Any Shopping – Making sure they have everything they need
- Cleaning the kitchen up after preparing meals – loading unloading the dishwasher
- Children laundry, keeping play areas tidy
Candidate requirements:
- Experienced driver (The nanny needs to own a car to get to work. However, an automatic car will be provided for her to use during the work hours)
- Experienced with young children
- Have training and good knowledge on Early Years Development
- Have young children safety awareness
- Good cooking skills – knowledge of nutrition
- Very good cook and Love cooking tasty healthy meals from scratch
- Extremely organised, can use laptop and google docs
- Active and enjoys being outdoors
- Enjoys reading to the children
- Excellent English skills
- Loving, patient someone who is Happy, bubbly and positive
- Up to date DBS
- Up to date Paediatric First Aid Certificate
- Clean driving licence
- Self-starter who shows initiative
