A family of five, in Santa Barbara, California, needs to hire of a full-time live-in Nanny to help care for an infant. Responsibilities include: newborn care, preparing bottles, planning age-appropriate developmental activities and outings, helping the child meet developmental milestones, nursery care, housekeeping related to the child, and bath and bedtime routine. Applicants with a background in education and/ or related degrees would be strongly preferred. All candidates must be up to date with all vaccines including the Covid vaccine, have a valid driver’s license and passport, and be able to swim. Must be CPR certified or willing to get certified. Primary care will be for the infant, however the nanny must be comfortable with two school-age children and working alongside the older children’s nanny at times. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday 50 hours per week. The position will primarily be based in the family’s Santa Barbara home but travel to/from Nevada is required. Salary range is $90k – $150k plus health insurance. January start.
