A family based in San Diego, California is seeking an experienced Night Newborn Care Specialist to provide overnight support for a 6–8 week contract throughout July and August.
The family is looking for a calm, knowledgeable and reliable newborn professional who can confidently support both baby and parents during the early newborn stage, helping establish healthy sleep and feeding routines while ensuring a peaceful overnight environment.
The role will involve all standard overnight newborn care duties including feeding support, bottle preparation and sterilisation where needed, diapering, soothing and settling the baby, monitoring sleep patterns, and maintaining detailed overnight logs. The ideal candidate will have strong newborn experience, excellent references, and a gentle, reassuring approach with first-time or growing families.
This position requires flexibility to work between 5 and 7 nights per week depending on the family’s needs.
Please note this is a live-out role only, and the family is specifically seeking local San Diego candidates who can commute easily to the home.
Compensation up to $40 per hour depending on experience.
