This lovely family is looking for a professional, organised, flexible, and kind & caring Rota Nanny for their 3-year-old boy and 3-month-old girl.
You would be expected to have a good understanding and experience of working with children of a similar age including weaning and toilet training.
The little boy is happy, healthy and in a good routine. He enjoys fresh air/walks, visiting the zoo, and reading books about animals. He will start to attend nursery 5 mornings per week from September.
The baby girl is also happy and healthy and in a good routine – the family currently has a Maternity Nurse who is with the family until the end of November.
The role is a mixture of sole charge and shared care; you should be someone who is happy to work alongside the parents but also someone that the parents can trust and rely on and is happy and capable of taking sole charge.
The working days/hours are Monday to Sunday 8am to 7pm on a week on/week off rota basis with 1-night babysitting per week included in the salary.
All nursery duties are required including laundry and ensuring that the children’s bedrooms and play areas are tidy and well organised. The Nanny on duty will also be expected to plan and prepare healthy nutritious meals for the children
There will be some European and Worldwide travel in this role so it is essential that you enjoy travelling and are highly organised when doing so.
A driver is not essential as all amenities and activities are within walking distance of the house.
The family employs other staff in the household and so the ability to work as a team is essential. In a busy household like this organisation is key – you would need to act on your own initiative and be highly organised with excellent communication skills as you would need to work closely with the family to provide the best level of care for the children and create a fun and stimulating environment in which they will continue to develop and strive. You need to have a good understanding of the role that a Nanny plays, with the ability to be discreet, respectful of the family home, and maintain professional boundaries.
The family has 3 dogs and 2 cats which are very much part of the family and so an animal lover is essential.
