A family of four, with homes on the Upper West Side and in the Hamptons, needs to hire a part-time afternoon Nanny/ Family Assistant to assist in the care of two elementary school-age. Responsibilities include: school pick up & shuttling the children to afternoon activities (sports, playdates, etc.), taking the children on outings, helping the parents manage the children’s schedules, children’s laundry & child-related housekeeping, preparing healthy snacks & meals for the children, helping with homework and running errands. The family would love someone who is ok pitching in with light tidying, some family laundry, and light cooking, though this is not a requirement. All applicants must be Covid vaccinated and be able to work in a home with dogs. The ideal applicant also have a valid driver’s license, be able to swim, and have the ability to travel. During the school year, the position is Monday through Friday from 11am or 12pm to 6pm. In the summer, the family needs applicants who can come to the Hamptons Thursday through Saturday or Sunday (they are flexible), as the children are in camp. Salary range: $35-40/hr. Immediate start!
