A professional and generous couple are looking for a long-term, full-time, live-out, career nanny/educator. The family lives in Miami Beach, Florida. The role starts as soon as soon as possible. Preference will be given to candidates already in Florida, however they will consider offering relocation for a candidate who checks all the boxes.
The family includes the mother, father, 13-year-old boy, 9-year-old girl 6-year-old boy, and 5-year-old girl. They have one poodle-mix dog. Requirements: must have several years experience working for a HNW family caring for at least two or more children, must be educated in early childhood education, and a strong preference towards someone with educator experience. It would be a bonus if the career nanny/educator speaks Spanish.
The family likes structure and want this person to plan full day activities for the kids in art, music, sports, scavenger hunts, etc. The family does like to have the weeks’ schedule of activities ahead of time. Also, the two younger children are both advanced so they want this person to nurture their development and growth accordingly.
This person should also know how to cook healthy meals and snacks for the children. They do not have any food allergies, but are health-conscious. They do have a chef, however when the chef is not there, would appreciate this person making some healthy basic meals for the family.
To be successful in this role, the career nanny should be fun, outgoing, cheerful, personable, warm, stable, committed, active and energetic, loyal, and organized. The career nanny should also be firm, and recognize teaching moments when the kids are misbehaving.
Although the families’ home base is Miami, the career nanny must be travel ready. The family usually goes away, often spontaneously, whenever the kids are off of school. So this person must be able to travel domestically and internationally, without restrictions and must be okay with traveling on a yacht occasionally. They frequent Aspen, the Caribbean, Canada, and the South of France.
The nanny must be flexible to work any 5-days needed with two days off. The family is offering medical, PTO, paid federal holidays, and a performance-based yearly bonus.
If you do not know how to swim, the family will pay for you to learn. This will be mandatory, if you do not know how to swim. You must have your valid drivers’ license. The career nanny must be COVID vaccinated. You must have a valid U.S. Passport to apply for this role.
