We are looking for an experience and dedicated Nanny/Governess for a French family who relocated to the UK 3 years ago. Ideally, they are looking for a native English speaker to assist their children with their English language skills. They have two children. A boy aged 4 years old and a girl of 6. This is a fully staffed and formal household.
You will be required to work a 5 day week (Tuesday to Saturday). A 12 hour day – however when the children are at school between 9am and 3pm there will be plenty of down time for you.
You will be responsible for getting the children up and ready for school. When you collect them later in the day you will accompany them to their extracurricular and after school activities, arrange social events and activities, assist them with their home work and support their education. Oversee dinner, bed and bath times. On a Saturday you will take them to their classes such as ballet and music and take them on outings, museums, theatre, zoo etc…
The family are looking for someone who is educated and holds a degree. A teaching qualification will be advantageous and a proven track record of supporting children with their education is key for this role.
You will be provided with your own bedroom and bathroom within the family home. Salary £55,000 to 75,000 gross per year depending on your experience and your education.
