This family is looking for a proactive PA/Nanny to join their household.
The role will be a mix of PA duties and nannying for their two boys aged 9 & 6.
PA duties will include booking holidays, organising the boys’ schedules for the summer, household admin such as organising any maintenance and servicing, organising dinner and birthday parties, and running general errands including post office runs and grocery shopping etc.
The boys will both be at boarding school from September, but will be home every other weekend, so you’ll be responsible for picking them up from school, attending sports matches (most Wednesdays), liaising with the school, helping with homework, and taking them to activities and playdates.
Working hours will vary throughout the year and you will work approximately 39 weeks of the year, and an average of 40 hours per week, with some weeks being more intense than others. When the boys are home on exeat, you’ll be on 24 hour call and will be provided with a bedroom and ensuite bathroom on a separate floor in the family home (every fortnight during term time). You will also be on call during half terms. On a non-exeat week, working hours are 9-5, Monday to Friday with the ability to work from home some days
The family travels to Nigeria for Christmas Easter and the summer (about 12 weeks in total) and you will not need to accompany them on these trips. They do travel to Europe in the summer and may like you to accompany them for this.
A driver is essential and you will be required to collect the boys from school and drive down to matches – their school is about an hour from London.
