A couple who have a baby boy aged 6 months old are looking for a nanny to join them. The family are looking for a nanny with baby experience who can assist mum with his early year’s development. A nanny who is/has: loving/caring, natural maternal instinct, kind, smiley/happy disposition, honest, discreet, precise, attention to detail, attention to hygiene, punctual, responsible, tidy and enjoys cooking. The position will start off as a mix of sole and shared duties however, mum will be returning to work so the suitable candidate must be able to take on all sole charge daily duties. The family are looking for someone long term who can be part of the family. This is their first child with a hope for one more in due course.
General duties:
Daily baby duties – dressing, changing, feeding, and settling
Following little boys’ daily routine
Attending play dates, baby groups and different activities
Going for walks and to the park
Playing and doing different activities at home supporting his learning and development
Preparing healthy meals and snacks – supporting the weaning stage
Undertaking nursery duties – little boys’ laundry and tidying toys/bedroom/play areas
Ability to travel with family- is preferred. There is a spacious townhouse in Bath where they spend some long weekends. There will be holiday travel destinations such as mother’s home in Greece as well as holidays in Alps and within the UK
Candidate requirements:
The suitable candidate would be warm, friendly and fun who is also family orientated
Must be fluent or Native English speaker – bonus id a Greek speaker
Someone who loves working with children and enjoys supporting their learning and development
Someone who has a good level of energy and is upbeat
Must have experience working with similar ages and able to follow routines
Has either a Level 3 in childcare, Norland diploma, Montessori qualification or qualification within in childcare – would be a bonus but not a requirement
Flexibility to travel with the family
A driver is preferred but not essential
