Live in Nanny/Governesses sought for a family based in Holland Park, W14. This role is sole charge for two girls aged 4 and 9yrs. The successful candidate will be required to help with homework, assist with nursery duties relating to the children alongside a housekeeper, school/activity runs including light household admin/PA work. You will be required to understand and have knowledge of the British school system, be happy to liaise with the mother weekly regarding both girls progress/routines, overseeing and helping with homework and keeping track of correspondence relating to both girls education. A strong educational background and a teaching qualification would be preferred and a German speaker would be a bonus although not essential. A nanny with longevity in previous roles is essential. The ideal Nanny will need to arrange fun, stimulating and creative activities for the children in order for them to progress in their development. The house is fully staffed with a housekeeper and weekend nanny. The family are looking for a candidate who is professional, well presented and fun. A driver is essential and a car will be provided for work purposes. Accommodation will consist of own bedroom and bathroom on a separate floor and has a separate entrance. A candidate flexible to travel to the family home in Henley during some school holidays may be required. Working Hours are Monday – Thursday, 7am – 7pm during term time and 8am – 7pm during school holidays. Offering a competitive salary dependent on experience. Role to commence ASAP.
