A family located in North London with two children and expecting a baby in the New Year are looking for a patient and experienced nanny to join them. Mum is very hands on so at the beginning the position will be supporting before and after school with the oldest and once the newborn is born the position will be more focused on the baby.
The suitable candidate would have experience caring for babies and love being a nanny with the ability to support children. The oldest child has development delay, which is supported by outside agencies however, you must be patient but firm and he has a great personality!
The family have a second home in Florida so you would be required to travel during spring holidays.
General duties:
Daily nanny duties
Getting the children dressed and ready in the morning
Making sure school bags are prepared
School runs or taking the children to activities when required – must be a driver
Daily baby duties – dressing, changing, feeding, and settling
Following the children’s routine
Supporting the little boy with his speech therapy and reading with the children
Going for walks and to the park
Playing and doing different activities with the children
Adding to any shopping lists for any groceries needed
Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
Undertaking housekeeping duties in relation to the children
Travelling with the family – mainly spring break holidays to Florida
Accommodation: Private bedroom and bathroom
Candidate requirements:
Must be a fluent or native English speaker – bonus if a second language
Must be pet friendly – family have three cats and a medium dog
Someone who loves working with children and enjoys supporting their learning and development
Experience with babies
Must have a European or British passport
Someone who has a good level of energy and upbeat
Someone who is kind, caring, understanding but firm
Flexibility to travel with the family
Someone who is able to swim
