Statement: Very competitive salary on offer for a Norland trained nanny starting in September. The family are flexible for 3 or 4 days per week!

Job Summary: This lovely family are looking for a looking for a qualified (preferably Norland or equivalent calibre), proactive and caring Nanny to help care for their baby boy who is 8 months old.  The family had a maternity nurse for the baby when he was born, and the mother is now going back to work part time (working from home) The role is a mixture of shared care and sole charge The Nanny needs to have a relaxed yet professional approach and recognise their role as being to provide excellent care to the baby with a child development focus. The baby is happy and in a very good routine.  The parents are very keen for him to have as many experiences as possible, ensuring an educational focus.  They would like the nanny to be a part of planning this while working with the parents who are very hands-on.  The little boy already attends several classes including French lessons and music classes – he also enjoys visits to The Natural History and Science Museums which are close to the family home.  No nursery duties (laundry, cooking etc) are required by the nanny – the family want the focus to be on caring for their baby. The maternity nurse would be happy to provide a testimonial for the family

Salary:  up to £45,000 gross per annum (depending on days of work)


Candidate requirements:

Norland or similar qualification
Fluent English skills are essential
A driver is required, and a car will be available to use during work times
Experience with babies and the early years – with a focus on development
Confident with all the early years milestones
