First-time parents who welcomed their daughter 5 months ago are seeking a live in Nanny to join them for an ASAP start to assist with the care and development of their daughter. The family have had a maternity nurse for the past few months and as such the baby is said to be in a great routine, even sleeping through much of the night! The ideal candidate will be very well experienced caring for babies and have confidence offering support and guidance to the parents. The Mum will be shortly returning to work in the next month or so, therefore, would like the Nanny to join asap to support the transition. Both parents work a hybrid of work and office based and there may be occasions whereby, Mum or Dad must travel for work. Family also has a full-time housekeeper who has played an integral part of the baby’s early life. Therefore, the family are looking for an adaptable, kind and loving Nanny to fit into this home dynamic.
Accommodation: Own bedroom and shared bathroom with baby
General duties:
- Taking child to appointments when necessary
- Support sleep routine
- Support weaning – gradually introducing fresh and nutritious produce
- All nursery duties
- Encourage age-appropriate activities to encourage different stages of development
- Attend baby classes
- Offer gentle guidance and support
- Attend to child in the middle of the night
Candidate requirements:
- DBS at offer stage
- Paediatric first aid attended or booked at offer stage
- Kind and friendly
- Have a love for their profession
