DALLAS, TX (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY) -Wonderful family of four seeks a FULL-TIME NANNY for their two boys, ages 4 and 1 from 7am-6:30pm Monday-Friday. They would love someone who is flexible to work occasional weekends or evenings. No overnights or travel required.
Their eldest leaves for school at 7:10am (one of his parents takes him to school each day); he returns from school at around 5/5:30pm. He is curious and funny. He loves to build things and is very imaginative/creative. He’s shy at first but once he warms up to someone, he loves to talk to them! The youngest wakes up at around 7:00am and has a morning bottle and breakfast. He plays until his first nap at 9:45am. He usually naps for 1-1.5 hours. He has a second bottle at 11am and lunch at 12pm. He plays until his next nap at 2pm. He usually naps for 1-1.5 hours. He has a third bottle when he gets up from his nap. His little personality is still emerging, but he is a very happy, easygoing baby. He loves being part of the action and being by his older brother.
Duties in addition to complete childcare include cooking for both kids, kids’ laundry, and tidying their rooms/play areas. They have a regular housekeeper, so no heavy cleaning, just the day-to-day tidying. They live within walking distance to a park and shopping center (grocery store, coffee shop, restaurant, baby gym, etc.). They prefer the children stay home at younger ages. No driving is required, but they prefer their nanny have a DL and clean driving record in case of emergencies. Must be comfortable with parents working from home!
They are looking for a caring, kind nanny who enjoys working with infants and toddlers. They would love for their next nanny to have a minimum of five years of childcare experience and ideally an educational background in childcare or medical-related field. Must be CPR and First Aid certified for infants and toddlers as well as vaccinated for Covid, Covid booster and the seasonal flu. They are looking for someone who is willing to work within the parents’ guidelines, but also take initiative and work independently within those guidelines.
Benefits include paid sick days, holidays and vacation. Pay is $25/hour. Start date is ASAP!
