A laid-back family of five located in Cincinnati, Ohio is seeking a reliable, creative nanny (they are open to either a live-in or live-out candidate) to join their family and care for their three young children.

Their 4-year-old is energetic, smart, silly, and creative. He attends school a few days per week and enjoys dinosaurs, superheroes, swimming, and playgrounds. Their easy-going, sweet 2-year-old enjoys reading, coloring, and swimming. They recently welcomed an easy-natured, sweet baby into the family!  As a family, they enjoy hiking, swimming, going to the beach, visiting museums, and exploring new parks/playgrounds. They also enjoy traveling! Both mom and dad work outside of the home.

This position is ideal for the candidate who is passionate about the early learning stages of preschoolers and toddlers and is skilled at coming up with creative and educational activities! The family hopes to work with a candidate who is infant-savvy and has a strong understanding of developmental milestones during the first year of life. Strong swimming skills are important, as the children enjoy being around water.  A candidate who has a warm and positive spirit and brings their experience and can-do attitude. A candidate with a pitch-in spirit who can provide healthy meals for the children, conduct child-related household tasks such as tidying and laundry will be valued in this household for years to come. While not a requirement, the family would love to work with a nanny with knowledge of Spanish or another language. Traveling with this family will be asked and appreciated.

Minimum Requirements:

·      Minimum of 3 years of recent, professional, paid childcare experience

·      High school diploma

·      Valid driver’s license

·      Driver’s license

·      At least 21 years of age

·      Comfortable swimming with children

·      Infant and toddler experience

·      Comfortable traveling with the family

·      Currently fully COVID-19 vaccinated (Note: All eligible family members are fully vaccinated against COVID-19)

Live-in/Live-Out:

The family is open to either living arrangement. For a live-in candidate, the family has private living quarters in the basement with a bedroom, full-bathroom, and living room area.

Schedule:

The schedule is full-time, guaranteeing 40 hours/week. The schedule will be provided approximately 2 months in advance. It will follow three 12 hour shifts between the hours of 6:30am and 6:30pm, Mondays through Fridays, with flexibility to occasionally provide later evening coverage.

Compensation:

The family is offering $25-$30/hour, before taxes, based on 40 hours/week which equates to $1,000-$1,200+/week and an annualized base compensation package of $52K-62,400+/year.
