A high profile family in Calabasas is seeking a cheerful, upbeat, and nurturing person who loves hanging out with kids. This role will primarily be taking care of one child, but also supervising two older kids (when they are present) who are very self-sufficient. Your main mission is to be the point person for the kids, handling full charge child care, and tagging along with them for their weekend plans, ensuring they’re safe and having fun. You’ll also be the mastermind behind planning exciting outings and activities that match their interests. Think playdates, projects, games, and being creative for at home/outside fun, doing your best to keep them engaged. Occasionally, you might need to stay overnight or travel on the weekends. The family is incredibly busy and will need you to remain flexible for this.

The family will value your ability to keep the energy happy and friendly, and also be understanding and respectful of their rules, systems, and parenting styles. MUST be discreet and understand how to read a room and respect boundaries — we are seeking candidates who have experience working in a high profile setting. The ideal candidate is trustworthy, responsible, kind, patient, flexible, easy going, and genuinely enjoys going with the flow, as no day is the same and plans can change at the last minute. We want to find someone who can really dig in and engage with the kids, get on their level, and ultimately be a great role model and friend. Compensation: $30/hour on payroll plus PTO, holidays, health insurance
