A family in Brooklyn Heights, NY is seeking a caring and energetic full-time nanny for their 3-year-old son and sweet 1.5-year-old daughter. In this role, you’ll be an important part of their daily routine, taking care of everything related to the children’s needs. You’ll be caring for either/or both children each day, and Mom will be at home some days, sharing in the care. Your responsibilities will include preparing nutritious meals for the children, keeping their bedrooms and play areas tidy, and handling their laundry. There’s a full-time housekeeper for the rest of the household chores. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience with young children, a degree in Early Childhood Education is a plus. The family occasionally travels for up to a month and would love for the candidate to join them for a minimum of two weeks once a year. Dates will be planned in advance. This is a live-out position and the working schedule would be Monday through Friday, 8am-6pm, plus occasional extended nights as discussed in advance. The family are offering $35-$40 p/h.
