Professional couple is looking for a long-term, full-time, 100% live-in, French-speaking, nanny. The role starts mid-to-late October. The family may consider relocating someone who has previously lived in NYC and are very familiar with the city (especially the Brooklyn Heights area). The live-in accommodations are a private bedroom and bathroom. The family will be renovating the brownstone, and then the live-in accommodation will likely be a studio or one-bedroom apartment space, within the house or above the garage.
The nanny must speak fluent/ideally native French and must have several years of experience caring for one-year through elementary-age for a private family. You must also have experience having worked for a HNW family. The nanny must be engaging, outgoing, creative, and nurture the child’s development. This person should be familiar with classes/activities that are age-appropriate and research programs to take the child to.
The family also has a home in the Poconos they go to usually every other weekend and for longer periods of time, usually a few weeks, in the summers. The nanny will be required to go with the family.
The family is offering a monthly medical stipend, PTO, paid sick/personal days, paid federal holidays, and a performance-based yearly bonus. The nanny must have their valid drivers’ license, and must have their valid U.S. Passport, and be willing and able to travel domestically and internationally. It would be a bonus for the family if you know how to swim. The nanny must be COVID, TDAP, and Flu vaccinated.
