We are seeking an exceptional and highly intelligent French-speaking governess/nanny with an educational background for a full-time position in Battersea, London, to care for a four-year-old boy. Starting in September, the boy will attend school and participate in various after-school activities, including French lessons and sports clubs. Responsibilities include preparing nutritious meals using fresh, seasonal, and organic ingredients where possible, handling laundry, and maintaining clothing in good condition. Household duties involve keeping the child’s room clean and tidy, ensuring the bathroom and kitchen are maintained to a high standard, and encouraging the child to take responsibility for daily tasks like making the bed and tidying the room. The ideal candidate will provide strong educational support and help foster a love of learning while creating and enforcing clear boundaries to develop a strong moral compass. We are looking for someone who is firm but fair, with a proven track record of supporting children educationally and morally. The role requires working Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM, with alternate Saturdays, and an ideal start date ASAP.
